CORE CURRICULUM

NESA’s curriculum revolves around a dynamic classroom approach in which students strive to acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems. Our STEAM-centered education celebrates each student’s curiosity and fosters their critical thinking skills, imagination, and innovation. Students engage in hands-on, project-based learning that emphasizes collaboration over competition. Learn more and view the courses offered in each academic department below.

Core Graduation Requirements

All NESA students complete the same core academic course load. Instructors work together to integrate unit focuses through multiple subject areas, allowing students to connect learning across disciplines. In contrast to the traditional siloed educational model, NESA’s project-based approach prioritizes hands-on learning, real-world application, and innovative problem-solving.
