Join us for a free evening at New England School of the Arts and experience NESA in action! Enjoy performances by our students, meet faculty and students, learn about our academic and arts curriculum, and tour our classrooms, studios, and performance spaces. Whether you’re a prospective family, community member, or simply curious about NESA, we invite you to come see how rigorous academics and meaningful arts experiences come together in our creative and supportive school community. This event is free and open to everyone!
Introducing NESA Ballet!
NESA Ballet is a new, year-round dance program at New England School of the Arts offering high-quality, supportive training for children, teens, and adults. With classes ranging from beginning ballet and creative movement to advanced ballet and pointe, as well as tap, character, musical theatre, and adult classes, NESA Ballet brings together an exceptional faculty of experienced professional dancers, teachers, and choreographers. Our goal is to provide a welcoming new home for dance in the Upper Valley where dancers can grow in technique, artistry, confidence, and their love of dance.
Painting Possibility: NESA Students Finish New Mural in Lebanon Tunnel
Our students wrapped up the first week of school by completing a vibrant new mural in the Lebanon Pedestrian Tunnel. The mural features the monarch butterfly, our school’s mascot and a powerful symbol of transformation and resilience.

New State Education Funding Available
All New Hampshire families—regardless of income—are now eligible to receive an average of $4,600 per child in state education funds. They can be used toward tuition at private schools like NESA, among other educational enrichment opportunities.

NESA Expands to Welcome Middle Schoolers for 2024-2025 School Year
We are thrilled to announce we are expanding to include middle school grades 6-8, starting this fall! This significant step comes in response to the overwhelming interest from middle school families and aligns with our mission to nurture creative thinkers from an early age.
NESA Ensemble Wins Bronze at New England Show Choir Showdown
After months of dedicated practice and collaboration, NESA’s show choir made their competition debut at the New England Show Choir Showdown. Sixth Sense clinched Bronze in the small mixed-choir division and Elizabeth Chambers earned the title of Best Vocalist.

Choral Festival Brings Together Youth Musicians from Across the Upper Valley
More than fifty students from high schools across the area joined together to create the Upper Valley Youth Chorus. The group spent the day studying under acclaimed conductor, composer, and performer Stefanie Weigland, and rehearsing a performance to share with hundreds of community members that evening.
